IFIP WG11.3 recognizes individuals who have contributed through their outstanding research and contribution to the area of data and applications security and privacy. Towards this end, it announced the following two awards:
IFIP WG 11.3 Carl Landwehr Outstanding Contributions Award: This award recognizes significant and sustained contributions to the IFIP WG 11.3 community and to the field of data and applications security and privacy through research, professional service, community building, leadership, mentoring, or a combination of these activities.
IFIP WG 11.3 Sushil Jajodia Outstanding Research Award: This award recognizes outstanding research contributions to the field of data and applications security and privacy that have had a lasting impact on the theory, design, development, or application of secure and privacy-preserving data systems.
